Chevre Under Attack

Hundreds of Hamas rockets have been fired at Israeli towns and cities from the Gaza Strip in recent days. Terrorists have targeted Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Rishon LeZion, Herzliya, and Jerusalem. Their attacks reached as far as Hadera, which is 100 km (62 mi) away from Gaza. Nearly half of the population is under fire, and when the sirens go off there are just seconds to find shelter. Whilst Iron Dome and the IDF work around the clock to protect Israel, the stress and fear of living under sustained attack takes its toll on all of us. 10447871_802690806420458_1690035325380286011_n Tzfat is north, in the centre of the white zone, and is a safe haven at this time of war. Not only are all our participants safe, as in previous times of danger, Livnot is opening its doors to our chevre and their families for relief, some of whom have already arrived. If you or someone you know is in the line of fire, call Orly at 052-429-5387 to reserve room for a restful Shabbat at Livnot U’Lehibanot in Tzfat. Space is limited, so please contact us right away. If you live in northern Israel and are able to host chevre once we’re full, please be in touch. If you’re far from the action but want to help, please consider sponsoring a weekend of relief for a fellow Livnoter. A family of four can be provided with Shabbat meals and housing for only $150.
