Livnot Global Shabbat – October 24th and 25th

Join Chevre from around the world in hosting or being a guest for this special Shabbat

IMG_1314On Friday 24th and Saturday 25th October, Jews from all around the world will be coming together to host a global Shabbat dinner…and we invite you to be a part of it!

We are asking all of you to either organize or participate in this incredible Global Shabbat experience in your local community. Just imagine the impact that you can have on the Jewish world if we have hundreds of our Alumni participate and even organize a Shabbat meal after the program.

We already have dozens of chevre hosting Shabbat meals across the US, Canada and Israel. If you live in one of those cities and want to be hosted for a Shabbat meal, let us know!

Whether it’s connecting you to other chevre in your area, finding the right venue to host or organize a meal or with planning.

You don’t need to plan a big meal with lots of chevre to participate, just invite your friends or family round for a Friday night meal at your place or somewhere in the community such as a Campus Hillel or Moishe House.

Please make sure to send us pictures or videos from your get together, such as preparing food, guests arriving or lighting candles, OR write a short paragraph to send to us about your experience on the Global Shabbat!

Fill in the form below and register as either a host or a participant, and we will help connect you with chevre in your area. Or you can contact us directly by emailing admissions@livnot.org subject heading Global Shabbat.

Shabbat Shalom!
